Musical Playground – Musicians without Borders

After more than 5000 children participated in Musicians without Borders‘ music workshops in Palestine in 2013, we have sponsored their program Palestine Community Music in 2014 as well: More than 100 teachers and social workers were trained in Musical and Nonviolence Leadership skills, and another 4439 children participated in music workshops. A special focus was put on children with special needs: blind children and deaf children received a series of rap workshops, after which they wrote their own rap songs which were performance and recorded in Dheisheh refugee camp.
