Music Education Scholarships in Jordan

Prelude continues to sponsor music education classes for underprivileged children in Jordan. This year, one of the scholarship recipient, Kareem, 16 years old, who has excelled in his studies, was invited to a national TV show, to play the piano in front of a large audience.

Kareem lost his mother when he was just a baby. His father works as a security guard. Together with his sister, they all live in the basement of the apartments his father guards. In the TV show, Kareem honored his father by thanking his support throughout his childhood. The presenter asked his father to stand up, and the whole audience applauded.
